I am not a typical watercolor paper user, because I don't do watercolor painting. I use watercolor paper for making XIX century photographic prints using gum bichromate technology. For that I need 300 gr paper who will stand long soaking in water without disintegrating. I have discovered by chance this brand not having high hopes, because it is relatively cheap. It appeared that it is excellent, and now it is my favorite brand for gum bichromate prints.

Very thick and heavy weight, great texture. Good for beginner and suitable for all kinds of artwork. Scent free and acid free so great for kids!

For the price, this paper is excellent. You can load a substantial amount of water prior to painting with very little warpage. I tape off my paintings to keep everything in place so the paper is really manageable. Love it and will buy more. Only thing on my wish list would be to have this paper in a pure white.

As someone who hasn't attempted watercolors since elementary school, I was uncertain what brand would sell the best materials. As I'm intermediately knowledgeable on the subject, I knew what I was looking for, but didn't want something more expensive than the average hobbiest would purchase. This was the perfect purchase. With no bleed-through, quality construction, and more pages than the less-cost-effective options offer, I'll be returning to this product in the future!
