I didn't expect something this small to feel so complete. The whole set fits perfectly in my bag, and I've started taking it with me everywhere-coffee shops, parks, even just sitting by the window at home. It feels very slow and peace. No pressure to make anything perfect, just enjoying the process.

I also love that the colors are thoughtfully arranged, you can get surprisingly different moods out of such a tiny palette. The sketchbook is a nice touch too-I've been using it for mixed media, switching between watercolor and markers, and even combining both in the same piece. It's surprisingly versatile.

It's become my little "pause button" during the day.

I was immediately drawn to how delicate and compact this set looks. I've bought quite a few art supplies before, but they were always too bulky, so I ended up only painting at home. This set is exactly what I needed for painting outdoors. I can easily take it with me whenever I head out, without any pressure or hassle.
As you can see in my photos, the two palettes have different color tones, which makes it fun to create in different styles. The blue pouch also includes a water cup for cleaning brushes, a brush, and cotton watercolor papers. There's also a cotton watercolor sketchbook in the set, although I haven't started using it yet.
I think getting the bundle is much more worth it than buying each item separately. I'm already thinking about getting another set as a gift for Mother's Day!

i ordered this for my crafty daughter who also travels for months at a time for her job. this is a terrific way to take crafts with you on the road that doesn't take up space and you can still have your downtime and art fix. she loved it. well made and very nice.

I'm trying to teach myself how to paint with watercolors and still feel very intimidated by a blank page. This set lets me try some fast little experiments while I wait in line or have a few minutes to sit, and the paper and kit in general are small enough that I don't feel like it's a Big Deal, I Must Create ART. Instead, I make a little picture of some random object on the spur of the moment, and whether it does/doesn't turn out the way I planned, I can take it home and figure out why.

This set has everything this newbie needs, and more. The palette is wood and lovely, it excites my creativity just by looking beautiful. There are tools and gizmos that I'm learning to use. The paints are in tubes instead of hard little bricks, and are not your basic spectrum -- I can experiment with different greens, blues, etc.

The set is just gorgeous and I'm having a wonderful time creating non-masterpieces and improving my skills. I highly recommend it!

I tested the colors in a small Funto journal and another journal, and interestingly, the colors appeared brighter and more vibrant in the Funto journal. It was fun to compare and see how the paper affects the results.

This truly is a grab-and-go set. There's even room in the pouch to swap out the small journal for a slightly larger one if you prefer, which adds to its versatility.

A couple of small notes: the instructions seem to be for a slightly different version of the set, but honestly, I prefer this design and had no trouble figuring everything out. Also, you may want to add a small pencil sharpener to complete the kit.

Overall, I am delighted with this set. It's a wonderful option for beginners and a great portable solution for practicing watercolor wherever inspiration strikes!
