These were recommended to me by an artist I follow to use for small watercolors but the quality is so great I can see using this for any type of art that you want.
The paper is textured and doesn't bleed through. The binding is strong so paper stays put. I love that I can throw them in my bag with a portable water color set and use it anywhere.

War von der Qualität echt positiv überrascht. Das Papier bleibt gut nass wenn man z.b. nass-in-nass Technik verwenden will. Es verzieht sich wenig und hat eine schöne, leicht grobe Struktur die für kleine Aquarellbilder nicht hinderlich ist. Gut gebunden. Außen schön stabil Beide Seiten können gut bemalt werden.

The 2 pack of journals are 100% cotton, cold pressed and the pages lay open easily! Great for mixed media as the pages are quite thick. What more could you ask for? Oh did I mention they are priced just right!

I absolutely love this watercolor book! The paper is thicker than what I've used in other small pads, and it doesn't warp as easily, even with wetter layers. The size is perfect for following along with the tutorial I'm doing on painting fruits, vegetables, and snacks. It's compact but gives enough room to work comfortably. I'll definitely be repurchasing this two-pack when I run out.

Perfect little watercolor book that's fits in the palm of your hand. As a beginner in water coloring, the larger paper pack felt intimidating. I brought this on a recent trip and had fun creating little drawings/paintings. Easy to carry and the paper held up well. I would definitely recommend.

I absolutely adore these watercolor journals. Sewn together, lovely binding, nice strong paper, lays flat. It's perfect for my to go watercolor kit. I was back and forth on buying these for a while. There are so many choices. Although inexpensive, they are made in Japan, who creates the finest stationary products in the world, of which this is one.
