I’m new to watercolor and desired a sketchbook that seemed of reasonable quality at an introductory price. These have more than exceeded my expectations! I appreciate the quality of the paper and its option for working either on smooth or textured pages. There is barely any warp to the wet paper and working both sides of it shows little to no ghosting on the reverse side. The elastic enclosure feels firm and robust. It gives the impression it won’t give out anytime soon. I also love this size of book. I believe this qualifies as A5 and in my opinion it’s perfect for easy travel while offering enough room to get down your composition without feeling claustrophobic. Great product! When I fill these two I’ll order another set.

I love the size, large enough to paint comfortably but still portable. The pages have a nice texture and work well for watercolor, ink, and light sketching. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations.I would definitely buy this journal again

Estoy muy contenta con estos cuaderno que me sirven para mi estudio de color con la acuarela, son 300gr prensado en frío, sus 48 páginas van a ser un cumulo de estudio estupendo al ser apaisados puedo jugar mejor a la hora de hacer mi estudio sobre los colores. Creo que son 100% algodón mas que nada por su tacto, y se trabaja muy bien con ellos a la hora de hacer veladuras, aguadas etc. Sin duda lo volveré a comprar de este tamaño que es perfecto para lo que lo necesito.

I didn't know the paper was double-sided so it's a different texture on one side of the paper than the other and I really wasn't interested in that feature I wanted it to be medium watercolor paper instead of medium on one side fine on the other

These are incredible for the price. I love the look of them, the green is so vibrant and the texture of both the cover and paper is excellent. The interior has both a finer side and rougher side to each page. So far I haven’t noticed any bleed through and the binding has held up well so far.

Good practical journal, pages lay flat for wide panoramic sketches. 140# paper is good, elastic band keeps pages flat. Papers thick enough you can paint on both sides. I am quite happy with this purchase
